Gerber MultiPlier

Written by

GerberMultiPlier01If ever there was a holy grail of Gerber collecting, this fantastic First Production Run MultiPlier would probably be it.

With a high polish finish, nail nicks that don't line up with the handle cutouts, no locking tools and a plier head shape that just doesn't seem quite right, you can see this tool had a lot of refinements to come, and yet, it's the unmistakable ancestor of the current MP600- and in fact, most of Gerber's multitool line.  You can even see how close the handles come to eachother, which is the origin of its unofficial name, Mr. Pinchy!GerberMultiPlier02

If you have a classic MultiPlier or just want to look at some great pics from others, check out our MultiPlier Owner's Club! https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,74830.0.html
